In relation to other addictive behaviours, Gambling Disorders seems to have many different types of cognitive distortion which are specific to the disorder.

Obviously gambling addicts also exhibit the general cognitive distortions exhibited by other addictive behaviours too.

Table 1. shows the myriad of cognitive distortions associated with Gambling Disorder. We will be looking at some of these cognitive distortions in greater detail in later blogs.
